Bark skin gives you an outershell protecting you from the elements. It's not quite as tough as inorganic parts but it comes pretty close! Bark skin can cover roughly 75% of an AW0005's body.

The BNNUY02 subtype is more optimized for being able to have bark skin, so other subtypes won't be able to use them without an appropriate upgrade.
